Venture Capital

Venture capital has been in the core of Ambient Sound Investments’ investment strategy since the company was founded. The focus has been on seed and series-a stage investments and we have backed different early stage technology companies in Europe, United States and Asia. The first portfolio was put together from 2005 to 2011 and it consisted of direct investments only.

In recent years we have switched from direct investments to investing into the asset class mainly via early stage venture capital funds. We intend to follow this strategy also in the coming years but could still invest into a small number of exceptional late stage opportunities.
